Response to COVID-19

Couplings Company to Continue Operations as Providers of ‘Essential Services’

March 21, 2020

To our valued clients and partners:

The state of Illinois has enacted a ‘stay at home’ order effective as of Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. to curb the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. This means all residents are mandated to ‘remain at home’ and only essential businesses may remain open to provide critical services. Under the order, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker has mandated that all in Illinois stay in their homes except as needed to maintain continuity of operations in 16 specific critical infrastructure sectors. One of those critical infrastructure sectors, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security and the state of Illinois, is the critical manufacturing sector.

Couplings Company plays a vital role in the critical manufacturing sector and in serving the supply chain in this unprecedented time of need. Therefore, our Illinois manufacturing and logistics center will remain open and operational and our staff will remain available to continue to serve our customers in fulfilling the needs of the nation’s federal, state and local governments, healthcare facilities, and education, industrial and financial services sectors.

We continue to implement strict precautionary measures in all our logistics and integration centers, in accordance with government and public health requirements, to reduce risk for colleagues who are performing their duties.

Our Illinois-based operations will continue to serve as long as we can confidently protect the health and well-being of our colleagues.

If you have questions, please contact your Couplings Company sales representative or me directly.

We value your business and will continue to do everything we can to provide the best possible service to all our customers during these exceptionally challenging times.
